At Busy Bees, we use a curriculum developed by our director that has proven to be excellent and productive. With over 13 years of effective results, our 3 1/2- 4-year-old students are learning at a fast rate and excelling past the normal milestones of a typical early learner.

 

With this well-rounded inclusive curriculum, the faculty of Busy Bees are able to meet children where they are and build with them individually and collectively to promote a faster but effective learning pace.

Students will be able to:

•  Recognize all shapes and distinguish between their sizes when asked.

• Combine primary colors to create secondary colors.

• Recognize and recite phonics during story time.

• Count to 20 and recall numbers beyond 20.

• Discuss changes in the weather on a daily basis.

• Add and subtract when given a simple word problem.

• Utilize their bodies to create movement based off of the music that they hear.

• Understand and mimic the difference between fast and slow.

• Comprehend and recite what they read during story time when asked.

• Learn sight words and being learning how to use them appropriately.

• Paint according to what they feel and associate colors with feelings.

• Create rhyming words with a word that has the same ending.

• Studying basic Language Art poetry elements such as alliteration, rhythm, repetition, and onomatopoeia.

• Mimic and understand simple American Sign Language.

• Recognize different cultures around the world.

 

​In addition to this amazing curriculum, we provide 2 meals (breakfast & lunch) + 1 snack to our students daily. All of our food is prepared by our cook.
